We are looking for a software engineer ready to try something different and join our team at Squared Paper.

About us

Squared Paper is a successful and growing business providing innovative software and integration expertise to media companies. We have an impressive customer list – many of whom are household names.

We use many technologies including Typescript, JavaScript, Java, C# and React.

Recent projects include providing the UK Parliament with a system to allow over 600 MPs and over 800 Lords to connect to a hybrid chamber using a mix of video conferencing and high end broadcast systems. This complex automation system was delivered in record time using our Busby Toolkit.

Broadcast and Media is a great industry to work in covering a mix of creative, technical and commercial skills. We attend international exhibitions to evangelise our technology and keep in touch with developments around the world.

Our business method builds around a profit-sharing partnership with all responsibility and rewards shared.
We are based in central Reading on a purpose built floating office. Shared lunches are prepared daily and we support home-working at least one day a week.

An imaginative techie with a strong interest in software and its use in media – particularly broadcasting and OTT delivery.
A flexible and innovative individual who can work in a flat structure, sharing in the variable highs and lows of the business.
